How do I find change of names of companies, old to new names?

I have shares of companies whose name is not on BSE / NSE I think they have changed names/taken over/merged how can I find that please guide.How do I find change of names of companies, old to new names?

It takes research on this site, but the options clearing corporation or OCC has listed memos on splits, mergers, cash settlements and other great stuff like that. In the search box of the home page just type in the symbol. You'll have to scroll down the list of found links to determine which has the most details. one of the easiest ways to search through each memo is to use the Control + F key on your key board, then enter a key word in the search box. You can use that to search for that word or phrase listed in the document. Here is the site:
