Pokemon change name back to original?

I have a ton of good pokemon. but most of them have dumb nicknames i dont want. some are traded, some arent. how do i get the names back to the original?Pokemon change name back to original?
Unfortunately, you can't change the names of traded pokemon. As for the others, you can visit the name rater to change the name;

the name rater is in:

Lavender Town in Kanto

Goldenrod City in Johto

Slateport City in Hoenn

If a traded pokemon has a nickname, you cannot change it. If a pokemon you own has a nickname, take it to the name rater and change the name. The location of the name rater varies on which version you are playing.
If they are traded you can't rename them if they aren't you can go to the name rater
