How do I change names of music in my itunes?

I have been downloading music and books, etc. However I change the titles of the music and yet, after it enters my itunes it reverts back to its original form. How do I keep it at its new name and stop it reverting back to its original name?

right click on the song then click get info then click info then change what you want
