I would like to change the text i log in with (ex: admin) but my real account name is Administrator. How do I do this?Change Names On User Login On Windows XP?

go to control panel

Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools



switch to classic view (button located on the left panel)



click user accounts

click change user account or rename user account.



Or you can do it this way



start run (or winkey + r)

control userpasswords2

double click user account you wish to change

in Name field type new name.
