How to change file names in windows 7 first answer that works gets 10pts?

I just got a laptop for christmas and I am used to using windows vista, but this one already had windows 7 installed, which is surprisingly different. I am trying to change the name of the ';contributing artists'; and ';album'; etc. But unfortunately they are in gray and you can't change them unlike the title that you can right click and press rename. HELP PLEASE.

Thank You!!!!How to change file names in windows 7 first answer that works gets 10pts?
You should be able to change things like that on the Details tab in Properties.

Otherwise you may need to get them into a media player to manage them -- that would be easier anyway assuming you have more than one or two things to alter.

You'll also probably get better responses if you ask how you change mp3 tags. You're not actually asking about changing file names. How to change file names in windows 7 first answer that works gets 10pts?
