How do people change their names to ridiculous things?

If you see someone with a ridiculous name (like Luke Skywalker), is it just a fake account or did they somehow change their name and get it past the people who filter?How do people change their names to ridiculous things?

You just have to prove 1) you're not trying to get away from debtors and 2) you're not intending to deceive anyone (e.g. changing your name to Bianca Jagger). People change their names for all kinds of reasons: marriage, divorce, clarification, new chosen identity, religion, etc.How do people change their names to ridiculous things?
Because they have the urge to stand out and have unusual names. To them is sounds nice, and also I believe its like an altar ego. I have an altar ego name also myself.
