i have actually kept a name in facebook and

now i want to change it to something else

1. Log into your Facebook account

2. Click on the ';Account'; tab (should be at the top right of the screen)

3. Click ';Account Settings'; in the drop-down menu

4. Make sure you're on the ';Settings'; tab - there should be options to change your name/username. Press the ';Change'; button to the right

All you have to do is click on account.

And you should see account settings click on that.

Then on that page you should see name.

Click on change.

There ya go!
Go to account then Account Settings and then click on Change

Look for the ';Name'; section, click the ';change'; link, and enter the new information.

Click the Change Name button.

But remember that name changes can take up to 24 hours, but almost always happens instantly.
Go to Account in the far right corner click on it this will open a list. now go to account settings click on it.

then there will be a list off option you can do go to name and press change.

then its easy from there just follow the instructionns.
