How to change name of husband in Death Certificate(India) of Wife?

My grandmother's death certificate was registered with her husband name to be kannan instead of Sankar

All other Docs are having her husband's name as Sankar; How to change name this happened due to my uncle(My Father's brother) as she My grand mom died at my uncle's place only . If in the Medical certificate the name of husband is mentioned as Sankar than produce this certificate to the Authorities at the Municipal Ward office and request them to note the error and change the record. Than obtain the Death Certificate from the Ward Office.

It otherwise, than approach a Legal counsel to draft out an Affidavit - clarify the error, and have it submitted to the ward office for corrections with supporting documents.

You may not be having Marriage Certificate of Your grandmother. If available all your problems are solved and this can be the most satisfactory proof for the change.
